Merry Christmas
and a blessed
New Year
from our home to yours
'Tis a few days before Christmas
our shopping is done,
we've presents to wrap
celebrations and fun.
As we gather and laugh
we are mindful and more,
that many this year
don't have such galore.
Today we consider
with hearts full and yet sad,
that our friends far away
live in places quite bad.
Evil is present
and sadness is too,
joy far away
who can help? Who?
If not for the Savior
who came Christmas Day,
hope would be lost
we'd have nothing to say.
But once long ago
God did send His Son,
to rescue and save
for many, not one.
So our mission continues
to help those in need,
to serve through the church
with Christ's message we heed.
We thank our dear friends
who help us along,
through giving and praying
our hearts sing this song:
Joy to the World!
the Lord is come,
let earth receive her King.
Let every heart,
prepare Him room,
and heaven and nature sing...
Joy to the world indeed!
May our hearts prepare Him room.
We send our love and thanks to you and yours.
We praise God for the most precious gift of one small baby long ago,
sent to bring love, hope, and joy to the world.
May His peace be yours this season and always,
